A reputable and fast-growing Savings and Loans Company in Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified applicants for the following position of Relationship Officer.
Job Summary
For building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring their financial needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for business growth, and resolving customer complaints.
- Promotes and sells various products offered by the company, aiming to attract low-cost deposits from diverse customer segments, and sources current and savings accounts
- Prospects for new customers through existing leads, referrals etc. and maximizing lead generation.
- Preparing loan applications, evaluating customers’ financial information, credit reports and calculating risk ratios
- Any other assignment relevant to the role

Required Skills or Experience
Qualification Required & Experience
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, accounting, banking, finance, or a similar field.
- A professional qualification would be an added advantage
- A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification and work experience in a financial institution
Skills and Attributes
- Excellent knowledge of loan application procedures and best lending practice
- Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Good planning, quantitative and analytical skills
- High integrity, confidentiality, firm and fair
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office.
- Proven knowledge of banking laws, rules and regulations
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Sound independent judgment
