JOB PURPOSE
Rock City Hotel is a leading hospitality establishment dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences. We pride ourselves on offering top-quality services, and we are looking for a skilled Procurement Officer to manage our purchasing activities and ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the procurement process, from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely and costeffective purchases.
- Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms to optimize costs.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance regularly.
- Ensure all purchased goods meet quality standards and align with company needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to prevent shortages.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, budgets, and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualification/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of procurement software, materials control system will be an added advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of hospitality industry supply chain dynamics is an added advantage.
