The Cocoa Sustainability Analyst plays a central role in supporting Mars cocoa sustainability programs, leading supplier performance measurement and program monitoring, and ensuring quality data for internal and external reporting. The cocoa sustainability analyst supports the global cocoa team by acting as the steward of our cocoa sustainability data, leveraging data science, technology and knowledge management systems to support the Mars Cocoa for Generations strategy.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science Degree in a relevant field required (e.g., Economics, Data Science, Statistics, International Development or similar.)
- Experience in data analysis, database management, and data visualization leveraging programs such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, R, etc.
- Familiarity with GIS software for data analysis and visualization.
- Experience building and/or launching new digital products and processes, from conception through to launch engagement with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
- Ability to work with a multicultural team across time zones.

Preferred
- Familiarity with program monitoring and evaluation (M&E) approaches.
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Language skills in French and/or Spanish.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Lead supply chain data collection, cleaning, validation and analytics, including geospatial analysis using GIS.
- Track, assess and forecast progress and creates feedback loops to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our sustainability investments.
- Translate research results and relevant secondary data into insights and actionable recommendations.
- Develop and maintain effective tools, technologies, governance, and digital systems to support the business to access data and to meet voluntary and regulatory reporting requirements.
