Role Summary

The main responsibility of the Training Center Supervisor is to contribute to the optimization of the flow in the Competence Development Process. To maintain and secure the daily operation of the competence needs within the organization and ensure that the business goals and employee needs and expectations are met, from gap analysis through to planning, communication and follow-up. This work contributes to an optimized utilization of the employees' profitable expertise and relations with the customers.

Reports to: Dealer Director

Job Description

Lead and manage training operations: Ensure there is a clear structure to define, implement and follow up activities decided in the Business Plan. Ensure that the department works together with other departments to achieve common business objectives.

Lead the team Lead: Motivate and manage the team to deliver high-quality results. Work with Health & Safety to ensure a safe, secure and balanced work environment.

Analyze competence needs: Evaluate gathered needs to define action plans. Identify, consolidate and prioritize short- and long-term competence development needs, based on current business plans and market strategies, as well as individual development plans in performance assessment reviews.

Design learning solutions: Create, handover and communicate agreed learning solution. Create local learning portfolio considering existing offerings in global and/or regional catalogue. Agree with business owners and HR responsible on changes or updates in the current local learning portfolio.

Create learning culture: Promote, influence and support a high impact learning culture and practice. Coach managers on learning culture practices

  • Support implementation of learning and performance improvement solutions
  • Actively suggest other development activities to support a learning organization
  • Promote use of new learning methods
  • Share good practices and trends.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to lead the team and also work as part of a team.
  • Ability to build and manage key relationships and deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for business development.
  • Ability to take initiative and work under pressure.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • General computer skills (Microsoft Office Suit intermediary level).
  • Driver's license, and a heavy vehicle license an advantages.
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written), Ghana's local language (s) is an advantage

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

  • Relevant Education or equivalent work experience
  • Business knowledge and experience from a similar role is an advantage
  • Managerial and Leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Microsoft Office Suit Proficiency
