Maphlix Trust Ghana Limited is seeking an experienced and dedicated Agronomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in agricultural practices, certification processes, and smallholder farmer management to drive sustainable farming initiatives and ensure compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance crop yield and quality.
- Ensure compliance with certification requirements such as Global GAP and Fair Trade standards.
- Coordinate and oversee certification audits.
- Manage and provide technical support to smallholder farmers, fostering productive and sustainable relationships.
- Conduct soil, water, and crop assessments to recommend best farming practices.
- Collaborate with team members to align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate agricultural projects, providing insightful reports and improvement recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years experience in agronomy or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of Global GAP, Fair Trade, and certification standards.
- Proven experience in managing smallholder farmers.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to North Ketu (accommodation provided).
