The Finance and Operations Manager at Dikan Center is a crucial member of the senior management team, providing leadership in financial and operational domains to support the centre's mission. Responsibilities
Financial Management:

- Oversee financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Work closely with the finance team to monitor budgets, manage cash flows, and ensure financial sustainability.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Contribute to the development of grant applications and manage grants, including financial reporting to donors and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and financial obligations.
Operations Management:
- Monitor day-to-day operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Design and implement systems and controls to safeguard assets, manage stock, and conduct regular inventories.
- Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Manage facility operations, ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and legal requirements.
- Oversee procurement, workforce planning, and the implementation of technology solutions.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Supervise various team roles, including the Librarian, Property and Facilities Manager, Project Manager, and Program Coordinator.
- Use project management tools to monitor performance, set objectives, and provide feedback.
- Facilitate team meetings and training, ensuring alignment with Dikan's mission and operational goals.
Program Implementation:
- Ensure effective implementation of programs and projects, meeting objectives and deadlines.
- Collaborate with program managers to track progress and resolve issues.
- Lead strategic initiatives and contribute to the development of organizational goals.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a key contact for community interactions, engaging with students, guests, and external partners.
- Maintain effective communication with vendors, service providers, and stakeholders to support Dikan’s mission.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years experience in operations management, preferably in an educational or non-profit environment.
- Strong financial management skills, with proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience in team management and development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with grant management and educational program coordination is highly desirable.
- Strategic thinking abilities and proficiency in business tools and frameworks.
Tool:
- Expertise in Asana, Microsoft, and Excel and a good understanding of IT systems control.
