Job Overview

The Operations Manager will oversee the institute's day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient management of finance, human resources, internal communications, event management, procurement, logistics, and administrative functions. This role is crucial in supporting the institute's strategic goals and ensuring smooth operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finance Management:
    • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and audits.
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Human Resource Management:
    • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
    • Implement HR policies and maintain employee records.
  • Internal Communications:
    • Facilitate effective communication across departments.
    • Develop strategies to enhance team collaboration and engagement.
  • Event Management:
    • Plan and execute events such as workshops, seminars, and conferences.
    • Coordinate logistics and manage event budgets.
  • Procurement:
    • Oversee purchasing processes and vendor relationships.
    • Ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Logistics Management:
    • Manage logistics for events, projects, and daily operations.
    • Optimize supply chain processes to ensure efficiency.
  • Administrative Management:
    • Maintain office systems and ensure operational efficiency.
    • Support senior management in strategic planning and decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in operations management or a similar role.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the education or technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts or experience working in an AI-focused organization.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
