Department: Marketing
Reports To: Country Manager
As we continue to grow rapidly, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive the company’s market presence.
Position Overview
The Head of Marketing will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to support DGL’s growth. This role requires high-level strategic planning, leadership in brand management, and oversight of both digital and offline marketing efforts.

Budget Management:
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to deliver optimal return on investment (ROI).
Public Relations & Communications:
- Build and manage relationships with media outlets, agencies, and industry bodies to maximize positive brand exposure and thought leadership.
Sustainability Focus:
- Champion DGL’s commitment to sustainability and position the company as a leader in promoting sustainable agriculture practices in Ghana.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven leadership experience in marketing with strong organizational and strategic planning abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and CRM tools.
- Experience in the agricultural sector is an advantage but not mandatory.
Skills or Experience
Experience
- You have 8–10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the agricultural, FMCG, or B2B sectors. You have a proven record of success in crafting and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth and enhance brand equity.
Leadership & Communication:
- You have strong leadership skills and can inspire, guide, and mentor teams.
- Your communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, translating complex strategies into actionable plans.
Strategic Vision & Creativity:
- You bring both strategic vision and creativity to the role, capable of developing long-term strategies while driving innovative campaign designs.
