KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Kitchen Assistant
- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients.
- Cooking Support: Help the kitchen staff by monitoring cooking times, flipping or stirring food, and ensuring that food doesn't burn or overcook.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and keeping equipment and utensils clean and organized.
- Stock Management: Assist in keeping track of inventory, including checking stock levels, restocking ingredients, and rotating perishable items to minimize waste.
- Assisting Chefs: Support chefs and cooks in various tasks such as fetching ingredients, assembling dishes, and garnishing plates.
