Security Guard - Coscharis Ghana Limited

Duties and Responsibilities

• Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure
• Guarding valuables in a secured area.
• Protecting the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
• Responding to alarms and emergencies.
• Communicating any irregularities with management.
• Keeping an incident report record.
• Following procedures for various initiatives including fire prevention, traffic control and accident investigations
• Checking visitors in and out of the area.
• Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles according to protocols
• Evicting trespassers and violators and  perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over
• Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner
• Ensuring compliance with government regulations per the procedures of the company

Required Skills or Experience

• An applicant should have at least a year’s experience as a Security Guard.
• Should have attained a minimum of West African Certificate Examination(WASSCE)
• A certificate in Security will be an added advantage

Skills

• Have the ability to communicate clearly with others (staff and customers/visitors), 
• Be able to read and write English, be able to speak Twi and one other Ghanaian Local Language.
• Have the ability to take swift action in emergencies
• Be able to analyze behavior and to write basic occurrence reports during their shift
