AME DBU Leader: Large Scope Organization - Cummins Inc

We are looking for a talented AME DBU Leader – Large Scope Organization to join our team specializing in General Management for our Distribution Business Unit in Accra, Ghana.

• Strategic Leadership: Direct operations across multiple business functions and geographies, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Performance Management: Achieve or exceed balanced scorecard targets, managing profit and loss, and optimizing asset utilization.
• Policy Implementation: Implement operating policies and procedures through Directors and Managers, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• Customer Satisfaction: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, achieving high satisfaction ratings and understanding future needs.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organizational performance.
• Team Development: Develop, lead, and motivate Directors and Managers, fostering high-functioning teams and supporting career growth.
• Business Growth: Identify and develop new business opportunities, ensuring profitable growth and alignment with Cummins’ global strategy.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Anticipate and resolve cross-functional challenges, facilitating smooth operations and organizational success.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:

• College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering, Business or related field required.
• Advanced degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Green Belt certified.
• Significant experience is required, including strategy, product, customer, managerial, and budgetary experience.
