QC Supervisor - Sigma Cylinders

Job Scope Brief

• Ensuring that all products and processes meet the required standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. 
• Supervising quality control teams, implementing quality management systems, and continuously improving quality assurance processes to minimize defects and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of quality control inspectors and technicians.
• Provide training and development programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable about quality standards and procedures.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Implement and maintain effective testing procedures and methodologies.
• Analyze test data and reports, identifying any trends or areas for improvement.
• Manage non-conformance reports and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Communicate with production teams to ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Ensure all quality control activities comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality inspections, tests, and audits.
• Prepare quality reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills or Experience

• Must have experience in a manufacturing company, preferably heavy industry
• 3 - 4 years experience
