Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Research and Programs Executive to lead our events and program initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, research, and business development, with the ability to prepare comprehensive business proposals and documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of company events and programs.
- Develop and implement event strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Conduct research to identify industry trends, opportunities, and best practices.
- Prepare business proposals, reports, and other business documents to support company initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event and program execution.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
- Support the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives.
- Handle correspondence, phone calls, and inquiries related to programs and events.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for all programs and events.

Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Programs Director, Event Executive, or in a similar role.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and event management software.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in event management, program coordination, or business development.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing business proposals and other business documents.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events and programs.
- Experience in budget management and contract negotiation.
Additional Information
- The individual must have a valid driving license.
- Candidates with a legal background will have an added advantage.
- Proficiency in French is an added advantage.
