Job Description

The school offers a professional collaborative working environment where all voices and expertise are valued to fulfil the vision of becoming the most exciting learning environment in Africa.

The school is looking for a Design/Art Teaching Assistant to support and collaborate with Teachers in the delivery of lessons. The Teaching Assistant’s tasks will also include; preparing, setting up, checking equipment, and obtaining supplies as needed for the program.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications

  • Degree in technology and other relevant fields, such as robotics, computer design,art and woodworking.

Experience and Skills

  • Well-equipped with technical design and practical skills such as working with wood, a kiln and electrical tools. 
  • Demonstrated experience in making prototypes/models. 
  • Ability to learn new concepts/skills quickly. 
  • Demonstrable interest and experience in researching a variety of technologies and methods.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
