JOB PURPOSE
This function manages the day-to-day CLIREC reconciliation operations to provide delivery of systems and services in order to meet or exceed agreed services levels for all 34 affiliates. The function ensures that reconciliation services are processed for all affiliates and accurate updates made available for users before business hours.
Principal Accountabilities
- Reports directly to Head, Group Batch Processing.
- Ensures that after the movement flexcube EOD data to the History table, Clirec services are refreshed to enable a quick update of the files on daily bases.
- Ensures that SWIFT files are updates daily.
- Ensures prompt update of Clirec Proof, App and Nostro for users.
- Ensures users issues are swiftly handled.
- Ensures all download are down without hitches by the users.
- Ensures all accounts display the proper balances for reconciliatory purposes.
- Punctuality at work to attend user issues.
- Communication Skills
- Fluent in English, hence facilitating communication across the group with other IT representatives French will be an added advantage.
- Deliver informative, well-organized presentations.
- Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Technical Understanding
- Broad understanding of SQL (Structured Query Language) and Windows DB; the main working tool.
- Understand Clirec architectural structure.
- Ability to fastly learn new techniques and up to date with relevant technological information.
