purpose
To create and update technical test scripts to run automated testing to prevent errors or defects in the live system, maintain existing scripts and debug results of automated testing
responsibilities
- Comply with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements and adhere to processes and procedures related to the area of specialisation
- Develop technical test scripts
- Document testing project activities
- Ensure test analysis is conducted and aligned to quality assurance standards
- Comply with corporate governance according to Information Technology governance models for automation
- Manage automated scripting
- Investigate defects and the route cause of the defects
- Identify and utilise opportunities to assess and improve your own performance

- Ensure operational excellence through the delivery of work processes according to defined quality standards
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Deliver customer service through adherence to quality service standards
- Contribute to cost efficiencies through responsible utilisation of work-related resources
experience and qualifications
- Minimum Qualification - Information Technology related certification or diploma in testing or automation
- Preferred Qualification - Information Technology-related Degree and/or relevant certification including ISEB/ISTQB Certification; TMap Next Engineer; ISTQB Advanced Analyst
- Experience - 2 to 3 years of related IT experience
