La Community Bank Limited seeks to employ suitably qualified persons for the following position: Information Technology Manager
Job Summary
- Leads the IT team in the development and implementation of information systems to enhance operations by driving efficiency with technology4
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of IT systems, ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, training and quality management are properly addressed and monitored to ensure that deadlines, budgets and service levels are met and results delivered
Qualification Required & Experience
- Minimum of a first degree in computer science, computer engineering and management information system or in any related field
- Relevant professional certification in essential e.g CCNP, MCP, OCP
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a rural/community bank

Knowledge and Skills
- In-depth knowledge of banking operations and a core banking software e.g bankmill or T24.
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure
- Working knowledge of Database technologies – SQL Oracle,
- Good working knowledge of network and systems Administration – Windows, Linux, Novell
- Knowledge in enterprise database systems
- Understanding of the Data Protection Act and other related legislations, standards and codes of practice in the industry
- Good working knowledge of information risk analysis/management
