IT Manager - La Community Bank Limited

La Community Bank Limited seeks to employ suitably qualified persons for the following position: Information Technology Manager

Job Summary

• Leads the IT team in the development and implementation of information systems to enhance operations by driving efficiency with technology4
• Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of IT systems, ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, training and quality management are properly addressed and monitored to ensure that deadlines, budgets and service levels are met and results delivered

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of a first degree in computer science, computer engineering and management information system or in any related field
• Relevant professional certification in essential e.g CCNP, MCP, OCP
• At least 7 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a rural/community bank

Knowledge and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of banking operations and a core banking software e.g bankmill or T24.
• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure
• Working knowledge of Database technologies – SQL Oracle,
• Good working knowledge of network and systems Administration – Windows, Linux, Novell
• Knowledge in enterprise database systems
• Understanding of the Data Protection Act and other related legislations, standards and codes of practice in the industry
• Good working knowledge of information risk analysis/management
