Full Job Description - Read Carefully
A renowned security company is seeking to engage a Security Manager for its site operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop, implement and manage the overall company security strategy and its associated property
- Develop and implement policies, standards, and guidelines related to company security
- Respond to incidents that may require managerial supervision and input
- Guard force planning, management, and training to provide efficient and professional security of the company
- Develop security event response plans and briefings for the company and its contractors focusing on the following:
Kidnap and attacks
Hostage situation
Vehicle tracking
- Investigate theft and other high-level security incidents at the workplace
- Implement and maintain security incidents management systems (SIMS).
- Gather information and forward it to the management.
- Develop an intelligence network to enable the Security Team to plan for upcoming events to reduce the impact on operations and production

- Provide security awareness briefings to all personnel
- Develop and brief the force on Security Emergency Response Plans
- Advise senior management regarding security threats and protection strategies.
- Develop and disseminate security risk reports to the Regional Security Manager
Qualification:
- A degree from any recognized tertiary institution in the country with a minimum of 3 years of working experience from a security company.
- Knowledgeable in private security standards and procedures.
- Good written and oral command of the English language.
- Excellent staff management skill
- Must be a Ghanaian and have a valid Ghanaian driving license.
Skills:
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- A proven ability to work unsupervised and operate with a degree of self-control.
- Strong leadership skills
- Must have a proactive approach and a willingness to work outside the job
specification when required - Honest and reliable
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
