The Kumasi Technical University seeks to employ a Services Engineer and Network Engineer
Services Engineer
The Services Engineer at Kumasi Technical University among other duties shall undertake the following:
- Design and produce drawings of mechanical services layouts such as Air Conditioning and Refrigeration/Cooling Systems.
- Design and produce drawings of Electrical Layouts/Systems such as Power, Lighting, etc.
- Design and produce drawings of Fire Installations such as Fire Alarms, Smoke Detectors, Fire Extinguishers, etc.
- Design of Solar Energy Systems.
- Design of Lifts/Elevator Systems.
- Construction of all Building Services Works.
- Any other duties that shall be assigned by the Director of Works and Physical Development.
Qualification, Skills, and Experience:
- Postgraduate degree in Building Services Engineering or related qualification.
- Member of a recognized professional body.
- Two (2) years relevant post-qualification experience.

Network Engineer
The Network Engineer shall, among other duties, undertake the following:
- Design and implement new network solutions.
- Improve the efficiency of current networks.
- Install, configure and support network equipment including routers, firewalls, proxy servers, switches, VLANS, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP.
- Assist the Head of the Information and Communication Technology Directorate.
- The Network Engineer shall assist the Director of ICT in the performance of his/her duties as provided for in the Guiding Statutes of the University.
Qualification, Skills, and Experience:
- Postgraduate degree in Network Engineering or related qualification.
- Member of a relevant professional body preferably CISCO (with CCNA 1&2 complete).
- Two (2) years relevant post-qualification experience.
