The Ghana Geological Survey Authority (GGSA) invites applications from suitable candidates to apply for the position of Assistant Ceramists
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct fieldwork, including sitting, logging, and sampling of pits activities to delineate clay-type materials and products
- Assist in the preparation of clay samples, as well as firing and conducting of physical tests
- Assist in the collection and compilation of data on clay and ceramic materials
- Assist in the design and fabrication of clay products
- Any other work assigned by the Management of GGSA in furtherance of the Authority’s objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Candidates for this position must:

- possess a minimum of Bachelor of Industrial Arts (Ceramics Option) awarded by a recognized tertiary institution.
- have at least two (2) years relevant experience in a reputable public or private sector organization
- have completed the statutory National Service
- assist in the collection, compilation, analysis, and interpretation of data on clay materials and products
- have good interpersonal and communication skills
