Full Job Description - Read Carefully
Ascension Global is currently seeking applications for a Tenements & GIS Officer to join an operation in West Africa. Within the role, you will report to the Technical Services Manager and work with key stakeholders across the business managing all tenement administration activities.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Management and updating the Lease Control database
- Liaison with site-based tenement administrators
- Completion of applications and submissions to the various government authorities
- Assist geology personnel to achieve compliance with the usual regulatory bodies
- Provide all relevant stakeholders with timely advice
- Grow strong working relationships with teams at site

Skills highly regarded would be:
- Competency in Lease Control software
- A working knowledge of GIS applications
- A legal background or tertiary qualifications in Law or Geology desirable
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to work with large multi-cultural teams.
- Highly organised and a strong attention to detail and record management
