Qualification Required & Experience
A person seeking appointment as Professor must:
- Nationally and internationally be acknowledged as teach, scholar and innovator in his/her field with significant contribution to industrial innovations, as well as contribution to the intellectual and professional reputation of his/her University
- Have been appointed as Professor in the relevant discipline in a public tertiary institution or a duly accredited private tertiary institution in Ghana or elsewhere.
- Possess a PhD in the relevant field of specialisation in one or more of the areas listed above
- Show evidence of capacity for continuous research and dissemination of knowledge through technology transfer and publications
- Have a minimum of 26 publications in recognised reputable peer reviewed journals, at least 10 of which must have been published after promotion to the grade of Associate Professional
Note: Evidence of industry experience and membership of a recognised professional body will be an added advantage

Associate Professor
Qualification Required & Experience
A person seeking appointment as Associate Professor must:
- Have been appointed as Associate Professor in the relevant discipline in a public tertiary institution in Ghana or elsewhere
- Possess a PhD in the relevant field of specialisation
- Show evidence of outstanding performance in teaching, research and industry-related innovations in the candidates subject area, as well as, contribution to the intellectual and professional reputation of his/her University
- Demonstrate capacity for continuous research and dissemination of knowledge through
- Technology transfer and publications
- Have a minimum of 16 publications in recognised reputable peer reviewed journals, at least 10 of which must have been published after promotion to the Senior Lecturer grade
- Provide evidence of other research/professional activity/products/invention/innovation
Note: Evidence of industry experience and membership of a recognised professional body will be an added advantage
Senior Lecturer
Qualification Required & Experience
A person seeking appointment as Senior Lecturer must:
- Have been appointed as Senior Lecturer in the relevant discipline in a public tertiary institution or a duly accredited private tertiary institution in Ghana or elsewhere
- Possess a PhD in the relevant field of specialisation
- Have taught for a minimum of 6 years as a Lecturer
- Have a minimum of 6 publications in recognised reputable peer reviewed journals
- Provide evidence of other research / professional activity/products/invention/innovation

- Possess a research Master’s Degree in the relevant field of specialisation and
- Have some appreciable industrial experience or skills in competency-based Training (CBT).
- Have completed National Service
- The Assistant Lecturer position is a temporary one for a period of 2 years and renewable for a further period of 2 years only and may terminate unless the applicant registers for and obtains a terminal degree
Note: Membership of a recognised professional body will be an added advantage
