The International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) is an international organisation tasked with promoting innovative, comprehensive and sustainable migration policies. With 17 Member States and over 60 projects active throughout Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America, ICMPD is a growing and ever-more relevant presence in its field. Project Overview:
ICMPD is inviting all interested candidates to apply for the Driver position, for the SBS Ghana project.
The overall objective of SBS ghana to contribute to reducing irregular migration, by strengthening the capacities of national agencies, academic institutions and CSOs working in the area of migration, for improved service delivery and coordination at all levels including cooperation and coordination with neighbouring countries and by enhancing border management and security.

The project has two components:
1. Support to Ghana Immigration Service;
2. Demand Driven Facility (DDF) for CSOs, universities and media (support to innovative projects).

Job Description:
The Driver provides reliable and safe driving services for the transport of authorized personnel of the ICMPD Accra’s office in accordance with relevant traffic regulations and ICMPD security policies. The Driver has strong sense of responsibility, a client-oriented approach, courtesy and the ability to work with people of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
The Project Driver works under the supervision of the Project Manager and in close collaboration with other project team members.
This position is located in Accra, with driving services in support of field missions, within the territory of Ghana.
