Ideas Printhouse Ltd is inviting well motivated persons to come join its team as MO and GTO Machine Operator.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mix colored inks in accordance with color sample
- Prepares the press and operates offset presses

- Makes adjustments to image quality
- Provide instructions and training in the proper methods and processes necessary to do the work
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to detect defects in printed pieces while jobs are in progress and make adjustments for correction.
- Must possess a strong commitment to the quality of work produced.
- Ability to comprehend and effectively follow oral and written instructions.
- Basic mechanical ability and a desire and ability to acquire knowledge and understanding of the operation of offset printing presses in general
- A growing knowledge of the use of and application of inks to paper and of the various chemicals and materials used in the pressroom.
- Ability to be trained in the operation of larger and more sophisticated presses.
Personal Attributes:
- Must poses a high sense of integrity
- Ability to work independently and for longer hours
Experience
- Experience and or training as a journeyman press operator and a familiarity with various types of presses-Heidelberg MO and Heidelberg GTO with numbering and any other machine.
