A very busy Director who has a full-time job and also owns additional private businesses (restaurants). He needs someone who has ability to serve as a link between the Director, the restaurants and other commitments. The candidate will monitor, follow up, take decisions and report to Director as appropriate. To the Director, the candidate is a Personal Assistant. To the businesses, the PA acts as General Manager. This position requires maturity exercise of good judgment and smart thinking. This opportunity provides incentives for personal growth.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate for the position of Personal Assistant would possess certain critical qualities including :

  • Pay attention to details.
  • Very organized individual who manages and keeps track of schedules.
  • Must have analytical mind and apply objectivity to decision making.
  • Demonstrate maturity, confidentiality and trustworthiness.
  • Be very professional in interactions.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media handles.
  • Very good writing and communication skills.

SPECIFIC TASKS

  • Oversee payment of salaries to staff.
  • Receive reports from supervisors of the restaurant, analyze, synthesize and report on key issues to Director.
  • Manage Director’s diary including appointments and follow ups.
  • Perform administrative duties.
  • Represent Director at meetings.
  • Prepare reports on key issues and make recommendations for attention of Director.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of Diploma in relevant field. A degree is an advantage.
  • Practical or demonstrated experience as a PA desirable.
  • Ability to drive is an advantage.
