Takoradi Technical University invites applications from suitable qualified candidates for appointment as Lecturers and Senior Lecturers in the following Faculties / Departments / Offices.
FACULTY OF ENGINEERING
- Department of Mechanical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering (lecturers/senior lecturers)
- Oil and Gas Engineering (lecturers/senior lecturers)
SENIOR LECTURER
The candidate must
- Possess a PhD with spenalisation in the particular area of study or a closely academic area
- Have a strong research background and professional experience
- Have at least six (6) years of teaching experience at the university level
- Have darned out research and published articles in the relevant area in peer-reviewed journals
- Have a commitment to excellent teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED & EXPERIENCE
- Applicant must have a PhD or analogous degree in the relevant area from a recognised university
- Must have served as a lecturer or to the equivalent position for at least six (6) year in a recognised institution.
LECTURER
The candidate must
- Possess a PhD with specialisation in one or more of the areas of study listed above
- Have some professional expenence in the specific area,
- Have demonstrated potential and interest to conduct research and to excel in teaching,
- Have a commitment to excellent teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels
- Applicant should have a commitment to the advancement of research and scholarship, a wdiness to learn new approaches and techniques and to be available for students supervision
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED & EXPERIENCE
For appointment to the grade of Lecturer applicant must:
- Have a PhD or analogous degree in the relevant area from a recognised university
- Have research interest in the area of specialisabon
