Job Description
- Teaching all areas of the primary curriculum
- Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater to the needs of the class’s ability range
- Motivating students with enthusiastic, imaginative presentations
- Maintaining discipline
- Preparing and evaluating work to facilitate positive student development
- Providing feedback to parents on a students’ progress at parent conferences and other meetings
- Working with colleagues to plan and coordinate work
Job Requirements
- A minimum of a university degree, preferably in Education; or other relevant experience working with children in a classroom setting
- At least 2 years teaching experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess a strong work ethic, and be a person of integrity
- Candidate must be a learner themselves – constantly reading and learning about new trends and topics
