ESTI (Electronic Security Training Institute), in partnership with Response One Ghana, is recruiting experienced part-time instructors to deliver a practical, discipline-driven one-month training program for Alarm Intervention (Rapid Response) Officers.
Available Part-Time Instructor Roles
Responsibilities
- Teach situational awareness, safe approach techniques, suspect control basics, and de-escalation
- Run scenario-based role plays (aggressive suspect, distressed victim, angry client, false alarm)
What You Will Teach (Summary)
- Discipline and professional conduct
- Operational standards, communications, and reporting
- Alarm response fundamentals and dispatch procedures
- First aid and emergency response
- Vehicle response safety and tactical arrival procedures
- De-escalation and scenario-based field drills
- Final assessments and certification readiness

Required Skills or Experience
- Proven field experience in security operations, emergency response, military/police training, or structured guarding operations
- Ability to teach clearly and manage disciplined classroom/practical sessions
- Strong personal integrity and professionalism (no compromise)
- Must pass background/reference checks
- Availability for practical sessions and assessments
Preferred
- Tactical/De-escalation: use-of-force continuum knowledge, restraint/control experience, scenario facilitation
Time Commitment
- Part-time delivery across the 4-week program (weekday sessions + weekend practicals).
- Exact timetable will be shared after instructor selection
Location: ESTI Training School, Accra (Awudome Estates)
Contract Type: Part-Time (per module / per session)
