Duties and Responsibilities
- Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure
- Guarding valuables in a secured area.
- Protecting the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
- Responding to alarms and emergencies.
- Communicating any irregularities with management.
- Keeping an incident report record.
- Following procedures for various initiatives including fire prevention, traffic control and accident investigations
- Checking visitors in and out of the area.
- Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles according to protocols
- Evicting trespassers and violators and perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over
- Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner
- Ensuring compliance with government regulations per the procedures of the company
Required Skills or Experience
- An applicant should have at least a year’s experience as a Security Guard.
- Should have attained a minimum of West African Certificate Examination(WASSCE)
- A certificate in Security will be an added advantage

Skills
- Have the ability to communicate clearly with others (staff and customers/visitors),
- Be able to read and write English, be able to speak Twi and one other Ghanaian Local Language.
- Have the ability to take swift action in emergencies
- Be able to analyze behavior and to write basic occurrence reports during their shift
