TechnipFMC is searching for an Installation Engineer to fill its job vacancy in Takoradi.
Contract type: Fixed Term
Responsibilities (include):
- Works independently to install test and repair new and reworked TFMC products (equipment and tools) ensuring no product.) lost time for our customers while controlling expenses and maintaining TechropFMC owned assets Handles customer complaints m a professional manner
Ensures all equipment, service tooling and spare parts are on lodbon and ready to use by performing inventones and function-fit tasks poor to beginning each lob Records critical information such as dimermons, weIghts, temperatures, pressures and flow rates to ensure assembly/system will work per design and procedure requirements. Assists with the review of product testing running and in some cases with assembly procedures
Completes tasks in accordance with procedures and applicable codes and/or standards
Provides "Project Support" as required for all new projects which includes: assisting with protect Factor/ Acceptance Tests, Systems Integration Testing and onste equipment commissioning
Prepares and completes Safety related documentation (slob Safety Analysis, incident, and other required reports) consisyently for the purpose of heightened safety awareness and accident prevention
Understands and folio. all TechnipFMC and customer safety requirements. Proactively pursues safe work practices and participates in safety training
Proactively pursues the attainment of new technical training and skills for the purpose of advancing and updating knowledge and competence
Takes responsibility and accountability for Safety. will not take or accept short cuts; responsibility will be taken to intervene or stop tIteptbdrequned
Qualification & Requirement (includes):
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Industrial Engineering or its equivalent and 3+ years relevant working experience. The ideal installation engineer will have a broad base design. installation and maintenance expenence of an oilfield equipment
- Typically 3 -5 years experience. working in either hydraulics, electrical. mechanical or structural technical held or minder vocational training preferred
- Requires developed knowledge of one or more of the following fields Electncal, Subsea equipment Hydraulic equipment. Mechanical equipment and tools
- Ability to identify deviations from standards
- Understands and efficiently uses basic computer hardware and software to pertain task
