Ghana Armed Forces Recruitment 2021 - Regular Officer Candidates

The Ghana Armed Forces invites applications from candidates to apply for its Regular Officers positions in the Army, Navy and Air Force

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY FOR GHANA ARMED FORCES RECRUITMENT/ENLISTMENT 2021

Eligible applicants should:

1. Be Ghanaian citizen by birth.
2. Be of good character.
3. Not be less than 20 years and not more than 26 years by 6th June 2021, for Regular Commission and not more than 30 years by Thursday 02 May 2021, for Short Service Commission.
4. Be medically fit by Ghana Armed Forces standards.
5. Not bonded.
6. Not married (for Regular Officer Candidates only).
7. Be of minimum height of 68m (5'6") for males and 1.60m (5'4") for females.

Note: For Military Police only; the minimum height for male applicants should be 1.75m (5'9") and 1.70m (5' 7") for females.

Must have the following:

• Six (6) Credit at BECE, including English and Mathematics.
• Six (6) Credits (not less than C6), including Core English and Core Mathematics.

Or

• Six (6) Credits (not less than D), including Core English and Core Mathematics.

Or

• GCE 'O' & 'A' levels: Five (5) Credits (not less than 6), including English and Mathematics at GCE 'O Level and not less than D in two subjects and General Paper at GCE 'A' Level.

ARMY

1. Infantry/Armour/Artillery:

In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a First Degree not below Second Class Lower from a recognised University.

2. Signal Corps:

In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a First Degree not below Second Class Lower from a recognised University/institution in any of the following:

1. Computer Science.
2. Computer Engineering.
3. Info Tech.
4. Network/Software Engineering.
5. Cyber/Forensic Security
6. Network Security
7. Info Tech Systems Auditing. Information Systems Science
8. Management Information Systems
9. Systems Engineering
10. Mathematics
11. Physics
12. Geometric Engineering.

 

3. Engineer Corps (ARMY / NAVY / AIR FORCE)

In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a First Degree not below Second Class Lower from a recognised University/Institution in any of the following:

1. Civil Engineering.
2. Electrical Engineering.
3. Mechanical Engineer (Building Services Option).
4. Building Technology/ construction
5. Geomatic Engineer.
6. Geological Engineer.

4. Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (Base Workshop) (ARMY / NAVY / AIR FORCE).

In addition to the genei al eligibility, applicants must have a First Degree not below Second class Lower from a recognised University in any of the lollowing:

1. Agricultural Engineering 
2. Material Engineering
3. BTech (Automobile)
4. Electrical Engineering
5. Electronics Engineering
6. Mechanical Engineering
7. Physics
8. Chemistry
9. Mathematics

 

5. Military Police (ARMY / NAVY / AIR FORCE).

In addition to the genei al eligibility, applicants must have a First Degree not below Second class Lower from a recognised University in any of the lollowing:

1. Forensic Science.
2. Sociology
3. Psychology

 

6. Ordnance Service (ARMY / NAVY / AIR FORCE).

In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a First Degree not below Second Class Lower from a recognized University/Institution in any of the following:

1. Chemistry/Biochemistry.
2. Logistics and Supply Chain Mgt.
3. Procurement and Sup Chain Mgt.
4. Publishing/Graphic Design.

 

7. Supply and Transport Corps (ARMY / NAVY / AIR FORCE)

In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a First Degree (BSc/BA) not below Second Class Lower from a recognised University/Institution in any of the following:

1. Supply Chain Management.
2. Logistics
3. Purchasing and Supply
4. Ports and Shipping Administration
5. BTech Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
6. Food Science and Technology.
7. Logistics and Transport Management.
8. Food and Nutrition.
9. Fire and Disaster Management.

8. Forces Pay Corps (ARMY/NAVY/AIRFORCE)

In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a First Degree not below Second Class Lower from a recognised University/Institution in the following:

1. Accounting
2. Finance
3. Economics
4. Commerce
5. Alternatively, applicants with CA(Ghana), CIMA, ACCA, CPA, ICSA are eligible.

 

9. Information Technology (ARMY / NAVY / AIR FORCE).

In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a First Degree not below Second Class Lower from a recognised University/Institution in any of the following:

• Computer Science.
• Computer Engineering.
• Information Technology,
• Network/Software
• Cyber/Forensic Security.
• Network
• Information Technology Systems
• Auditing.
• Information Systems Science.
• Management Information Systems.

 

10. Education Corps (ARMY / NAVY / AIR FORCE)

In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a First Degree in Education not below Second Class Lower from a recognised University/Institution.

 

11. Public Relations (ARMY / NAVY / AIR FORCE)

In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have First Degree (BA, BFA, BSc etc) not below Second Class Lower in any of the following from a recognised University/Institution:

1. Communication
2. Public Relations
3. Fine Arts (NAFTI)

12. Physical Training (PT) and Sports (ARMY / NAVY / AIR FORCE)

In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a First Degree in Physical Education not below Second Class Lower from a recognised University/Institution.

 

13. Band (ARMY / NAVY / AIR FORCE)

In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a First Degree in Music not below Second Class Lower from a recognised University/Institution.

 

14. Records (ARMY / NAVY / AIR FORCE)

In addition to the general eligibility, applicants must have a First Degree not below Second Class Lower from a recognised University/Institution.

3. Statistics
4. Archival Studies
