Senior FPE Manager

JOB PURPOSE

To provide technical and operational support in FPE for the achievement of the objectives of the Commission.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises the management of FPE database for effective and efficient management of activities in the Division.

• Collates inputs for the development of appropriate systems for diagnosis and surveillance.
• Collates data for the development of standards for emerging FPE management practices.
• Collects data for the management of^-complaints from FPE stakeholders.
• Supervises and appraises the perfonnance of subordinate staff
• Facilitates the provision of Extension Services of the Commission.
• Supervises the collation of data for the preparation of annual work plan of the Division.
• Collates data for the preparation of mutual budget of the Division.
• Inspects fisheries facilities and produces appropriate reports.
• Administers drugs and chemicals in the aquaculture establishments.
• Collates data for the preparation of atmual and other periodic reports of the Division.

Assistant Aquaculture Manager

JOB PURPOSE

To provide operational support in Aquaculture and Capture Fisheries for the achievement of the objectives of the Commission.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitors the management of the fingerlings from the hatcheries to the industry players.
• Conducts routine training on emerging technologies to the industry players.

• Supervises the establishment and development of aquaculture facilities.
• Inspects relevant documentation and ensures the proper completion of applications for licensing and issuance of import and export
• Collects and collates data for the management of the Division's database.
• Inspects vessels for issuance of licence and
• Inspects relevant documentation and ensures the proper completion of applications for catch certification and prepares appropriate
• Supervises and appraises the performance of subordinate staff.
• Collects data for the preparation of annual budget of the Division.
• Collects data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports of the Division.

Assistant Human Resource Manager

JOB PURPOSE

To provide operational support in Human Resource Management for the achievement of the obtectives of the Commission.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collates data for development and management of Human Resource database.

• Undertakes Human Resource activities on recruitment, training, perfomiance management and welfare of the staff
• Facilitates the development and review of appropriate Iluman Resource Systems and structures i.e. scheme of service, conditions of service, establishment schedules, training policies. etc.
• Collects data for the preparation of annual budget of the Division.
• Collects data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports of the Division.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Direct Entry

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited tertiary institution in Human Resource Management or any related field.
