About the Role!

Job Purpose

The IT Deployment Lead will be responsible for all aspects related to the Regional deployment of Upfield’s new technology common environment for a period of 6 months.  This role will lead, develop, plan and execute the chosen deployment model across Ghana & Nigeria. He / She will engage and connect the relevant stakeholders and represent the country and global needs.

This is a delivery focused role with pure focus on managing the partners to deliver on their contractual commitments and ensure successful deployment to the countries within the region.  It is a hands-on role and requires determined tenancy and pragmatism whilst upholding global standards as well as demonstrating intrinsic co-ordination with both the business and the delivery partners to ensure a successful deployment in country.

About you!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline. 
  • 5+ years professional work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a Business Partnering / Analyst Role
  • 3+ years project management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Stakeholder Management
  • 15% - 30% regional travel required.
  • Excellent communication skills, including direct customer interaction, ability to answer IT related questions.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts efficiently to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work with a variety of customers from different departments in large and small groups.
  • Strong personal initiative and ability to execute with minimal oversight.
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment ‘wearing many hats’.
  • Background working in an FMCG environment.
