A reputable company located in Tema is searching for a Pharmacy Technician for immediate employment.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:
The duties that candidate will be responsible for
- Daily activities include batch compounding, documentation, inventory maintenance, and care/maintenance of the Pharmacy Department. All work is carried out under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Ensure adjustments to claims are rightly adjusted.
- Assist in stocking the pharmacies.
- Conduct pharmaceutical auditing of the health service providers.

- Research, analyse and resolve prior authorization processing issues by verifying from clients, pharmacies; obtaining input from supervisor or clinical pharmacists; and referring unique requests to supervisor
- Conversant with the preparation of claims for onward submission to NHIS.
- Support all Compliance Program activities
- Maintaining absolute professionalism
- Advertising on pharmacy specialty programs
- Dealing with fraud, waste and abuse
Job Requirement
Qualification, Experience, Education, Skills and so on the candidate should possess
- Looking for candidates who have some previous experience in small scale manufacturing or hospital extemporaneous preparation.
- Attention to detail is a MUST, strong math skills are also extremely important.
- Previous experience in compounding or lab setting is not required but is STRONGLY preferred, preferably 3+ years experience in a hospital/small scale manufacturing pharmacy setting.
- Ability to learn quickly and the ability to be taught is desired
- Minimum academic qualification of HND in Pharmacy
- Good working knowledge of current medicine prices (generic & brand)
- Good computer literacy and high competency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-functioning environment and meet deadlines while managing multiple high priorities.
- Good customer service skills
