Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City - Accra is the only five-star luxury hotel offering state of the art meeting facilities and services in the city. The property has 269 luxury rooms (largest room size in Accra), 24 suites, a variety of F&B offerings as well as large conference facilities and the largest SPA in West Africa (opening soon), a perfect mix of categories to meet the needs of both corporate and conference visitors to the country
Commis
Prepare the mise en place and handle food preparation and assist with food presentation as part of the kitchen brigade.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare kitchen equipment for use.
- Assemble and prepare ingredients for menu items.
- Prepare simple food items.
- Prepare food for service.
- Assist with checking, receiving and storing of goods.
- Maintain storage areas.
- Maintain a hygienic kitchen and high standards of personal hygiene.

Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Must be a citizen
- Culinary Certification or its equivalent
- HACCP certification preferred
- Experience in an F&B kitchen role
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Additional language – beneficial
- Ability to work as part of a team, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Applying a professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times
- Working in a safe, prudent and organized manner
