- Support the organisation's enterprise applications IT
- Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical systems. Install,configure and maintain middleware IT infrastructure

- Perform backup and restoration of host operating systems and applications
- Develop custom scripts and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability.

Applications Officer, Windows System Administrator
Duties/ResponsibIIities:
- Analyse user support statistics and other data and recommend appropriate measures
- Maintain network and workstation hardware and software as well as deployed application utilised on the network
- Monitor network to ensure network availability to all systems users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability
- Install and configure computer hardware, networks, operating systems and applications (desktops, servers, printers, etc)
- Troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve hardware/software faults
- Replace hardware and parts as required
- Repair a fault or set up a system following diagrams and written instructions
- Support the rollout of new computer applications
- Respond to service indicents within the times specified in any service level agreement (SLA)
