A reputable state owned enterprise is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for appointment to fill the position of: Deputy Head of Estate
Job Summary
To coordinate and supervise all activities relating to properties acquisition and administration
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidelines for the development of policies on maintenance of the company's properties in the regions and monitor the implementation of such policies
- Advises management on land acquisition, policies and land use
- Develops effective systems for establishing lands data banks
- Coordinates and monitors the administration of policies and procedures for dealing with encroachment of lands
- Develops effective systems and procedures for monitoring tenant's compliance with tenacy terms and conditions
- Provide guidelines for the formulation of policies for the efficient management and maintenance of the company's real estate portfolio
- Provides inputs for the development of policies for the efficient management and maintenance of the company's real estate properties
- Undertakes valuation of lands to be acquired by the company's as well as other properties
- Develops for implementation an effective system of maintaining inventory of the company's properties in the regions
Qualification Required & Experience
- BSc Land Economy
- Membership of a recognised professional body e.g. GHIS
- Certificate in management or administration from a recognised institution
- Must have a minimum of 10 years in post qualification working experience in Estate Development industry
- 6 of it should have been in the managerial grade
Skills and Abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Developing Standards & regulations
- Excellent customer service & relations
- Ability to supervise other well
- Attention to details
