Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide world-class customer care to both internal and external customers.
  • Engage in regional customer support activities including accurate entry of orders, quotes and RMA's, and creation and maintenance of special specifications
  • Communicate to customers and reps on deliverables and resolving of additional customer service issues with some work direction from supervisor and peers. 
  • Complete and pass required customer service certifications.
  • Use judgment skills, prior experience, and company policies and procedures to resolve standard and in-region problems.  
  • Assist with customer feedback tracking and driving to customer satisfaction.
  • Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operation, and World-Class Manufacturing principles.

The CRM Assistant will perform functions related to Master Data Management (MDM), general business support to customers, Coding, Global Expense Management System (GEMS), GS support, and any other service that is assigned to the BSD unit, plus any special project requested, regardless of the location of the customers. The CRM Assistant will show basic level expertise (technical SME) in at least two of the above mentioned functions, but must support all of them in different levels and times based on work distribution by the BSD Lead and the requirements of the customer, the day-to-day process, and the follow-the-sun model. The CRM Assistant is a cross trained, multitasking person, willing to help the customer in any possible way. He/she, must be a hands-on basic level expert for his/her team and the internal and external customers. BSD internal Level 1 support.

Responsible for supporting all of the services with basic level of expertise (either Global Centre (GC)/Global Procurement Office (GPO), GEMS, General Customer Support, MDM (including coding), or any new service assigned to the BSD team).

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide effective customer service for all internal and external customers by utilizing in-depth knowledge of operational shipping processes.
  • Assess and authenticate all shipping documentations are accurate before upload on system.
  • Compile and submit ICD (Inland Container Depot) list for GPHA’s approval and distribute approved list to all parties.
  • Ensure timely submission of manifest to customs and other related parties.
  • Issue bill of ladings requested by customers.
  • Liaise with other departments on import requirements to customers.
  • Respond to customer queries/enquires via phone or email in a professional manner.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required by your supervisor.

  • Provide shipment status and notify customers of any delays regarding arrival, delivery or dispatch of shipments.
  • Provide local, freight and demurrage invoices to customers.
  • Provide import documentation to port authorities.
  • Liaise with other departments on import requirements to customers.
  • Respond to customer queries/enquires via phone or email in a professional manner.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required by your supervisor.
