Position:         Senior Analyst Commercial Planning

Level:             MTN Level 3

Reports to:    Senior Manager Commercial Panning and Pricing

 

Job Summary:

Manages the section responsible for coordinating the input from across the commercial functions into the business plan. This is inclusive of business case modelling and quarterly reforecast.

 

Job Role Key Tasks:

  • Coordinate the input for developing and maintain models for annual Budgeting of Revenues across the business. (Consumer, Digital, FinTech, ICT, etc)
  • Opex Estimation
  • RGS Estimation
  • MoU Estimation
  • Data & SMS Usage Assumptions
  • Coordinate the input for developing and maintain models for quarterly forecasting of Revenues across the business. (Consumer, Digital, FinTech, ICT, etc.)
  • Populating Load files for processing by Corporate Performance Management department
  • Coordinates quarterly Commercial plans for the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO)
  • Develops Models for Business Cases for  Products & Services, Promotions, Events and other commercial interventions to ensure viability before roll out
  • Facilitate training for stakeholder functions to better understand business case modeling
  • Provide market forecast for network dimensioning
  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly or adhoc commercial planning reports as per plan or line Managers request
  • Coordinate and preparation of commercial Opex Budget

 

Supervisory / Leadership / Managerial Tasks:

  • Set goals and objectives for direct reports, monitor progress and maintain motivation
  • Manage performance of team.
  • Identify staff training and development needs and implement necessary actions
  • Responsible for Career management of team
  • Input in hiring talents.
  • Create an enabling culture and environment for team to deliver on business objectives

Education:

  • First degree in Finance/ Accounting  or a related discipline
  • A post graduate degree MBA or Professional Certification will be advantageous

 

Experience:

  • 5 years’ work experience which includes: 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Preferable from a telecommunication industry or FMCG

Training:

  • Emerging Business Intelligence and forecasting tools and systems
