Job Title: Integrated Planner - MODEC Ghana

Job Description:

Assist in the generation of medium- and long-term maintenance master plans to realize synergies across MODEC’s Operations in Ghana.

Optimize planning activities using any agreed prioritization procedure in consultation with the various activity sponsors.

Structure and organize necessary planning meetings in accordance with published timetable.

Ensure that maintenance of all MODEC Ghana facilities, plant, associated equipment and facility utilities is carried out with minimal environment impact in accordance with legislation, class, flag and the OMS.

Implement the Integrated Plan as per Integrated Planning Procedure.

  • Plan and coordinate major medium- and long-term maintenance plans including shutdown maintenance activities across all MODEC Ghana facilities, ensuring synergies and onshore resources support are met.
  • Coordinate planned maintenance activities across all MODEC Ghana facilities.
  • Plan major shutdowns, ensuring work packs are in place for major equipment and by ensuring that materials and parts for the major equipment are available on time.
  • Liaise with Maintenance Supervisors / Materials & Logistics Lead in ordering of stores, spare gear and maintenance of on-board stock levels.
  • Be aware of class and flag survey requirements and plan for the preparation of machinery or equipment for survey
  • Be familiar with the MODEC Ghana facilities plant and machinery, working knowledge of safety requirements, including work permit systems, operational and emergency procedures, Company policy and instructions.
  • Provide updates and reports against plans and necessary supply “S curve” tracking of smaller project planning, if appropriate.
  • Maintain facilities POB forecasting to identify issues in advance.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of class and flag survey requirements and plan for the preparation of machinery or equipment for survey
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all MODEC Ghana facilities, plant and machinery, working knowledge of safety requirements, including work permit systems, operational and emergency procedures, Company policy and instructions.

Qualifications:

  • Appropriate degree or formal technical qualification preferred. Tertiary education - engineering preferred but extensive operational experience in similar environments equally valid.
  • +5 years’ experience industry experience preferably within the FPSO operations environment.

Essential:

  • Demonstrated Operational planning experience.
  • Understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems in an oil and gas operations & maintenance environment.
  • Some planning exposure and shutdown experience.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Project.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
