Our client, a reputable Private Security Company in Accra with offices in 10 regional capitals, with operations in Man guarding, Bullion van services, tracking & security devices, investigations unit, emergency alert systems and rapid response seeks to employ Cash in Transit Officers for their Kumasi Office.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Deposit received cash and cheques, verify amounts, and forensically check accuracy of deposited slips
- Counting and sorting of cash and/or cheques and making sure that amount in figures is same in words or writing before banking
- Addressing customers by name with a smile and direct eye contact
- Dealing tactfully and efficiently with demanding customers
- Adhering to all bank security, audit, and compliance requirements
- Be diligent in ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures when performing transactions
- Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned by supervisors
- Assist with bank branch audits
- Analyze information and have the ability to work with alacrity and accurately
- Willing to meticulously work schedules that include weekends
Required Skills or Experience
- The ideal candidate for the position of Cash in Transit Officers must have a first degree or an HND in any discipline from an accredited Tertiary Institution
- At least a minimum of two (2) or more years’ experience as a Bank teller is required
Skill Specification
- Demonstrated skills in the use of computers with proven accuracy in receiving, validating, and processing of customers’ cash and cheque deposits.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Report writing skills
