As a Regional Percussive Service Technician, you will be part of a global team and located in Obuasi, Ghana. You will report to the Percussive Service Manager in the Service & Operations department. The percussive team is responsible for applying drilling methods using down-the-hole (DTH), Top hammer (TH) and HRD (hydraulic rock drill). The Operations and Service department focuses on providing innovative solutions and timely support for field operations.
The main responsibility for this position is to provide technical support and innovative solutions to the various Customer Centers, Distributors, Dealers and End Users in the Africa region. As a Regional Percussive Service Technician, you will develop comprehensive product and application knowledge to assist Customer Centers in reaching their revenue targets. You will also use your technical knowledge to identify problems related to product handling, selection and quality.

Qualifications
Formal requirements are:
- A Degree or Higher National Diploma in Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Relevant technical knowledge in DTH,TH, HHE

- Ability to use and understand Movex, ACIGN, ComActivity, M3 online, PDM, Focal Point, SharePoint and any other program required for execution of the work
- Computer skills (MS Office Suite)
- Fluency in English (intermediate), understanding of French is huge advantage
- Good presentation skills
- Pro-active attitude and self-driven
- Result driven mentality

This is a fixed term contract position for three years and renewable depending on performance.
