JOB TITLE: HEAD, INVESTMENT/ PROJECT APPRAISAL
Job Purpose
To provide specialist services in Investment and Project Appraisal in order to ensure the efficient and effective management of Investments, with the aim Of maximising. Also to providé leadership in collecting and analysing financial information to assist in ensuring the efficient and effective management of Investment Portfolio.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain systems and procedures for analysis and evaluation Of and ongOing investments/projects.
- Develop, implement and use tools for managing and analysing investments/projects.
- Timely evaluation Of ongoing or existing investments.

- Provide input into formulating policies relevant to the operations of the Department.
- Conduct viability assessment of equity investment proposals.
- Undertake problems and prospects analysis of existing equity investments.
- Conduct documentation of equity investments.
- Assist in preparing operating and investment budgets,
Qualification and Requirements (i.e. academic skills, industry certification)
- A recognised first degree in Business Administration (Finance or Accounts option), Economics, Engineering or related fields or recognised professional qualification.
AND
- A second degree in Finance, Economics, Investments Or equivalent professional qualification.
Specific Work Experience
- A minimum of 8 years Of relevant post-qualification work experience in Investment Managernent and/or Finance with at least 5 years' experience served in a managerial position.
Managerial Competence (i.e. major managerial skills/knowledge)
- Ability to plan, Coordinate and monitor activities.
- Good leadership and interpersonal skills.
Personality Attributes
- A self-motivated individual possessing a proactive flair.
- Should be patient and determined to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
