A Fintech startup is looking for a well-rounded developers with financial industry experience to join a team working on a leading financial industries product. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing business engaged in the development some of the exciting products in the Mobile Money ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering quality and integration within the solution architecture, including solution design and communications.
- Responsible for development and support of the interface between applications, legacy systems, component libraries, content repositories and supporting databases
- Liaison between the customers, vendors, project management and the technical team on questions, issues, revisions to the solution architecture.
- Work with project management and customers on the solution architecture options, their impacts and decisions.
- Advise project management and the client on the impact of new technologies on their existing technical and information system environment.

- Oversee the integration of the new business solution with legacy (existing computer) systems to satisfy customer requirements.
- Work closely with the Technology and Innovation Manager, Solution Delivery Manager and Infrastructure Manager to evaluate key technology decisions..
- Work closely with project management and development teams to assist the planning and review of project schedules, project reviews and gap analysis.
- Take responsibility for the key phases of design, development, and deployment and testing of key projects..
- Provides overall design principles and guidance for software and hardware integration, performance design, reliability design, manageability design and security design.
- Effectively manages workload to support and develop core IT Services.
- Defines application subsystems and major components.
- Maintains the overall architecture (applications, data, and technical infrastructure) of the project and knows what the system components are and how they fit together.
- Creates and documents interface specifications and ensures they are published and controlled
- Development of interfaces for the different components so they meet interface specifications
- Co-ordinates interface design and back-end application design and development
Required Skills or Experience
- Languages: C#, VB.Net, SQL/T
- SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, VBScript, HTML, XML, SSIS, SSRS.
- Experience developing online/windows based solutions and system integrations.
- Demonstrable experience in backend software design in some of the following:
- SQL Server, Stored procedures, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#
- Excellent knowledge of SQL including database design & administration.
- Experience of managing multiple projects with multiple deadlines
Skills / Personal Requirement
- Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support.
- Ability to develop large scale web/database applications
- Ability to communicate clearly with people at all levels of an organization and with different levels of knowledge.
- Ability to construct user guides and documentation.
- Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces
- Ecommerce integration skills
