The Position/Job Description
- The Registrar shall be The Chief Administrative Officer of the responsible to the Vice Chancellor.
- Responsible for coordination of the University's strategic planning policy formulation and implementation.
- Responsible for supervision of the day-to-day operations of the offices within the Registry, including student admissions, examinations and records; student affairs, Human Resources and General Administration.
- The Secretary to the Governing Council, the Academic Board and Statutory Committees of the University.
- Responsible for the custody of Sunyani Technical University seal and for affixing same to relevant documents of the Governing Council and the Academic Board.
- Responsible for the custody of all legal documents and records of the University.
- Responsible for publishing policy decisions of the Goveming Council and the Academic Board of the University.
- Required to perform any other official functions as may be assigned by the Governing Council or delegated by the Vice Chancellor of the University.

The Position/Job Description
- The Vice Chancellor is The Academic and Executive Head, as well as Chief Disciplinary Offcer of the University, and is responsible to the Govermng Council of the University
- Responsible, in accordance with the Statutes and the decisions of Council and fre Academic Board, for organsing and conducting the Academic, financial and Administrative business of the University
- Responsible for the development and promotion of a world-class, high quality Technical University Education and the provision of the necessary academic and administrative leadership
- Responsible for initiating and implementing the Strategic Plan of the University, subject to approval by the Governing Council
- Required to advise the Governing Council and Academic Board of the University on all matters affecting policy, finance, governance and administration of the University
- May delegate any of the functions assigned by the Statutes to Senior Members of the University as deemed appropriate.

The Position/Job Description
- The Director of Finance shall be The Chief Accounting Officer of the University and the Chef financial advisor to the Vice Chancellor,
- Responsible for the implementation of policies relating to Accounting and Financial controls in the University.
- Responsible for corporate planning with respect to budgeting and budgetary control and long-term strategic planning with regard to all the finances of the University.
- The liaison officer between the Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in respect of financial matters affecting the University.
- Responsible for the preparation and consolidation of financial accounts and commenting on management reports for External Auditors.
- Responsible for the preparation of the annual operating budget of the University and shall present same through the Vice Chancellor to the Council for approval.
- Required to submit quarterly reports to the Governing Council on the status of plans and projections necessary for the preparation of budget for succeeding years.
- Responsible for ensuring, on behalf of Council, that proper records are kept of all university property, assets, stocks and valuables in a register.
- Responsible for and receive monies due the University and make authorised payments on behalf of the University.
- Required to ensure that every facility of the University is made accessible to both internal and extemal auditors in the performance of their functions,
- Required to exercise oversight responsibility for the accounting functions of other self- accounting and income-generating units of the University
- Required to any other official functions assigned by the Vice Chancellor of the University
