A Residents' Association of a reputable Residential Estate in Accra is seeking to recruit Estate Officer. Applications are invited from qualified persons to fill the following position in gated residential estate on the Spintex Road in Accra.
Position title: ESTATE OFFICER
Reports to: ESTATE MANAGER
Position summary:
The Estate Officer will be providing administrative support to the Estate Manager and the Manet Estate, receiving payments on behalf of the estate, facilitating maintenance repairs and attending site visits when necessary.
Key Duties:
- To respond to a wide range of estate based enquiries including maintenance, cleaning and repairs, outside vendors and members of the public within agreed timeframes.
- To receive monthly estate service charges at the office and update payment status of residents in a timely manner.
- To carry out estate based inspections when needed and report findings.
- To resolve telephone inquiries and update records timely.
- To as liaison for MCHRA residents.
- To take minutes at meetings when required and work with other teams and vendors.
- To assist the Estate Manager in coordinating maintenance schedules, addressing residents complaints, completing repairs and enforcing MCHRA modes of operations
- Ensure that the Estate office and assigned common areas are cleaned as per schedule.
Qualification Required & Experience
Skills required:
- Must have accounting skills
- Must be thorough and pay attention to detail
- Must have customer service skills
- Must have organizational skills
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Ability to remain polite and courteous
- Ability to take initiative and work with little supervision
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
- Ability to work well with others
