We are seeking a talented and driven Head of Finance to maintain oversight of our financial practices across Goldkey, work closely with the Finance team, Management team and Managing Director to ensure that high quality operational and project budgets are developed and managed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set Goldkey Properties finance and admin strategies and objectives
- Ensure all intemal and external reporting requirements are timeously met, including preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts and Statutory Annual Financial Statements
- Monitor Balance sheet and Income Staten-tent account movements.
- Manage taxation process for the company.
- Prepare monthly projects and building profitability reports
- Ensure timely, accurate and comprehensive board reports for quarterty
- Lead in the timely preparation of the budgets for the Real Estate entities and secure board of directors' approval.
- Ensure timely discharge of statutory obligations towards the ownership of the various commercial and residential properties
- Play an active role in proposal development.

QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc (Accounting/ Finance) or B. Com
- ICA. ACCA CIMA or similar qualification
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 4 years' post qualification experience.
- In-depth understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Strategic planning and management experience.
- Experience in Change Management.
KNOWLEDGE. SKILLS & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of busines practices in the Real Estate industry.
- Knowledge of budgeting
- Knowiedge of Microsoft Suite (including MS Access).
- Knowledge of Pastel Accounting System.
- Must have strong analytical, communication and research skills Methodical, accurate, pays attention to detail.
- Results-oriented adheres to turn-around times-deadlines
- Customer servtce-oriented
- Team player-ability to work closely with all stakeholders
