The primary focus of your role is to ensure that ignitia realizes strong, profitable, organic revenue growth through partnerships with NGOs and development institutions. You will be supported by a small yet mighty team of scientists, marketers and technical experts. You will leverage your strong relationships in the NGO space, as well as an in-depth knowledge of development institutions, to forge new partnerships and design new programs that deliver real impact on the ground.
You will lead the charge in establishing ignitia as the lead provider of weather data across this market.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Develop a deep understanding and articulate compellingly how ignitia’s current and future product portfolio can support NGOs and development institutions in delivering their impact goals
- Create ignitia’s go-to-market strategy and target plan to deliver ignitia’s ambitious growth objectives from NGO and development institution funded revenues
- Proactively manage a pipeline of prospects and opportunities through to winning bids to realize revenue targets

The main responsibilities for this role will include:
- Providing direct programme support to country teams on the roll out of integrated MDA, including the use of all ASCEND management and programme implementation tools and protocols;
- Coordinate and oversee the “WASH Sector Dialogue” aligned with the national structures and processes, to establish the criteria and process to target investment in water and sanitation services supply and demand to areas with high levels of NTD endemicity;
- Ensure WASH and SBCC approaches align with the WHO and NNN “WASH and Health Working Together: a “how to guide for NTD programmes”
- Facilitate the delivery of capacity building support in close coordination with the Coordinator-Implementation (HSS) that enhances the effectiveness of integrated NTDs, WASH and SBCC to government and implementing partners.
- Align learning, documentation and reporting systems with designated countries to that adopted across the ASCEND programme;

How can you make a difference?
Consultant to produce and deliver high-resolution photographs to illustrate UNICEF's impact Northern Regions.The objective of the consultancy is to provide photographic evidence of UNICEF field activities in the five northern regions. Consultant is required to undertake at least 6 field visits in the year with UNICEF staff in the northern regions to document the impact of UNICEF's programmatic work in the areas of water, sanitation and hygiene; health and nutrition, education, child protection and policy and evidence. Consultant would work according to brief outlined by specific programme or communication specialist / officer and would support high-profile field visits. The experience in managing high level dignitaries and officials is a bonus. The task requires accuracy, patience, ability to travel and work alongside others in difficult terrain and unpredictable circumstances.
