We are recruiting for permanent and temporary positions at a number of levels and in various locations. We are also seeking to bolster our list of consultants who will be available for short-term assignments. The post-holders will be responsible for providing technical support in the design of new projects, the provision of technical expertise to ongoing initiatives and they will also play a role in shaping the strategic direction of Sightsavers social inclusion strategy at this pivotal time.

Job/ Role Purpose:

To provide Sightsavers with technical and strategic programmatic advice in disability inclusion. Particular areas of expertise should include one or more of the following:

• disability mainstreaming (development and/or humanitarian settings);
• disability policy and influencing
• inclusive health, related to disability and/or gender;
• inclusive education
• mental health
• inclusive economic empowerment and/or diversity and inclusion in the workplace
• inclusion elections and political participation
• Community based rehabilitation
• Community mobilisation
• Behaviour change and communication
