Production Manager Trainee - Novento Foods

(Ghana applicants only) If selected, the trainee will be paid to go through a 3-month intensiveness training program. A portion of this program is virtual (work from home), while the other portion requires the candidate to live and work in Juapong, Ghana for 6 weeks. At the end of the training program, the trainee will be evaluated and upon successful completion may be offered a full time Production Manager position. The first 6 weeks of this program will be a part time position, demanding the trainee devote 20 hours a week (Monday through Friday) and will pay 100 cedi per week. The remaining 6 weeks will be full time and will pay 200 cedi per week. The total pay for the entire program will be 1800 cedi.If hired for the full time position, after the training program, salary will be increased to reflect increased responsibility and time commitment.You will learn:

• Production management
• Entomology
• Insect farming
• Research methods

What you will do:

• Read and watch assigned videos and articles
• Write reports on learned content
• Set up and manage small production test
• Research develop production methods

Applicants must:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific field
• Have a strong command of the English language & superior written communication skills
• Have strong technical and digital literacy
• Have access to a computer with reliable internet access
• Have an understanding of sustainability issues
• Be willing to live and work in Juapong, Ghana for the last 6 weeks of program
